DESIGN BASIS:
CAPACITY rating shown is based on full load on hook, plus 15% of capacity load to take care of dead weight of
hoist and any below-the-hook equipment, and on an average hoist speed of 20 FPM. Where faster speed and/or
extra lift hoist is used, or for magnet and vacuum lift service, check with factory for recommendation.
In such case give full information on contemplated installation.
Refer to clearance drawings J906FCT for dimensions, mounting bolt patterns, swing limts, etc.
Refer to Bulletins I.I.J-906-1 and I.I.J-906-2 for installation instructions.
Jib cranes with "L" dimension of 6' 6" or less have boom and mast as one-piece weldment, and are shipped in one piece.
Jib cranes with "L" dimension of 7' 6" and greater have bolted connection between boom and mast, and are shipped in
two pieces.
